Dr. Tofail Ahmed Ph. D

Professor Tofail Ahmed retired voluntarily from the Department of Public Administration , Chittagong University In September 2007.Besides the teaching in the universities , he also served in various national and international organizations as executives and consultants. Professor Ahmed is one of the well read academic in the field of local governance in Bangladesh. He is the author of about 25 books (Bangla and English) and a large number of articles on politics, administration and development. An academic, activist and organizer, Dr Tofail Ahmed also contributes columns in the newspapers of Bangladesh. He is one of the founder trustees of COAST Trust, contributed as Treasurer and Chairperson for about 8 years and currently sits in the board as member. One of the prominent civil society activists, Dr Ahmed regularly contributes in the debates and discussions on various reform issues. Email : ahmedt_dr@yahoo.com

Ziaul Hoque Mukta

He completed his education on Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) on International Economics and Institutions in 2004 from Southeast University, Dhaka. Earlier he studied and graduated in Master  of  Social  Science  (MSS)  in Anthropology  (1993,  held  in  1995),  Jahangirnagar  University,  Bangladesh and took Bachelor  of  Social

Science (BSS) in Anthropology (1992, held in 1994), Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh.

He is also skill and competencies on following issues;

Leadership & Management  ■  Theoretical  Construction,  Strategic  Plan  and  Innovative Approach  to  Intervention  ■  Organization,  Alliance  and  Team Building  ■  People  Management  ■  Resource  Mobilisation  and Budget Management ■ Negotiation ■ Representation.

Ziaul Hoque Mukta is affiliated with following field of responsibilities

– Honorary  Adviser  to  All‐Party  Parliamentary  Groups  (APPGs)  of  Bangladesh  Parliament and play a role of
– Honorary  Adviser  to  Equity  and  Justice  Working  Group  Bangladesh  (EquityBD)
– Vice‐Chair, Campaign for Sustainable Rural Livelihoods (CSRL), Bangladesh.
